Breeding cage is a kind of specialized cage, which is mainly used to raise male and female chickens together according to a certain ratio, and replace artificial insemination through natural mating.
This model makes use of the physiological habits of chickens, such as feeding, drinking, mating and roosting, and organically combines breeder mating with poultry facilities breeding technology to realize automation of feeding, drinking, environmental control (ventilation, lighting, temperature and humidity, etc.), manure cleaning, egg collection and other production processes.
The design of the cage is to improve the efficiency of breeding, reduce labor intensity, and the spread of disease. It is divided into single-layer and multi-layer cages. Multi-layer cages are commonly used in 3-8 layers, the ratio of male and female is 1:9. Male and female chickens should be combined at 13 weeks to 15 weeks of age. The cage should be kept in a dark light environment (illumination less than 5 lux).

Drinking system
- The water supply line is set in the middle of the top of each layer of cages, and two nipples are set in each cage for the chickens on the left and right side of the cages to drink, and a V-shaped water trough is set under the nipples to catch the splash of the chickens when they drink, and then evaporate naturally. This way, the splash of water will not fall into the chicken manure, which makes the chicken manure drier.
- At the front end of each water line, there are filters, intelligent water meters, dosers and pressure regulators. Through the digital information of the smart water meter, you can know the daily water consumption of the chickens and judge the health status of the chickens.
