Battery cage system
The battery cage is designed for high-density, high-yield farms, especially for chicken/duck, quail and rabbit. The multi-tier design maximizes the use of space, reduces site costs and simplifies feeding, watering, egg collection and cleaning operations. FamTECH offers both A-type and H-type battery cages to suit different farm environments.
A-type battery cage
The battery cage system type A is a stepped structure suitable for small and medium-sized farms, featuring good ventilation and easy maintenance. It consists of a wide range of products for different stages of poultry farming: A-type layer cage, brooder cage, broiler cage and breeder cage.
Type A battery cage for layers is designed for laying hens, providing good ventilation and heat stress control, especially suitable for tropical and subtropical regions, and is made of Q235 galvanized steel, which is corrosion-resistant, strong and equipped with an automated system of feeding, watering, egg collection and manure removal.
Type A pullet cage provides a warm and safe environment for chicks from 0-10 weeks of age, equipped with a fine wire mesh bottom to protect their legs, and automated watering and manure removal system to keep the cage hygienic.
Type A broiler cage is designed to be strong enough to support rapid weight gain of broilers, and is equipped with an automated feeding and manure removal system to meet the needs of small and medium-sized farms.
Type A breeder cage is designed for breeding, with a separate egg-laying area and plenty of space to move around, and is made of high-quality galvanized steel to support automated feeding and egg collection. Made of high-quality galvanized steel, these cages support automated feeding, watering and environmental control to improve breeding rates.
These cage systems are highly automated, reduce manual labor, are suitable for small to medium-sized farms, and have a service life of up to 20 years, which significantly improves breeding efficiency.
H-type battery cage
The H-battery cage system is a high-density farming system with laminated structure, suitable for large-scale intensive farms with high space utilization and automated management advantages.
H-type battery cage for layers adopts compact design, is made of Q235 galvanized steel, is corrosion-resistant and rust-resistant, and is equipped with automatic feeding, drinking, egg collection and manure removal systems, which improves egg production efficiency and reduces labor costs.
H-type pullet cages are suitable for brooder farms, designed to ensure good air circulation, equipped with automatic watering and feces disposal system, providing a hygienic and clean environment for chicks to grow, which helps to improve the success rate of brooder.
The H-type broiler cage supports rapid weight gain of broilers through a high-strength galvanized steel cage frame and is equipped with automatic feeding, drinking and manure removal systems for efficient farm management.
Designed to improve breeding success, the H-type breeding cage provides ample space for roosters and hens and is equipped with an automated management system to ensure a stable and hygienic breeding environment, making it ideal for large-scale breeding farms.

Cage-free solution
FamTECH offers two cage-free solutions: aviary system and slatted floor system. providing a free environment for animals that need more space to move around, it is suitable for free-range ducks, chickens, and other birds which helps to improve productivity and flexibility.
Aviary system
FamTECH’s aviary system is mainly applied to hens of 16-18 weeks of age, aiming to provide them with a suitable environment for egg laying, and is also suitable for broiler, brooder and breeder feeding. There are two types of aviary systems: Type A and Type B, which are adapted to the needs of different sizes of farms; Type A aviary system has a capacity of 100 hens and is equipped with a centralized egg collection design, open nesting boxes and stainless steel bases to increase the hens’ space and comfort; Type B aviary system is suitable for 92-120 hens and offers larger laying bins and space utilization efficiency.

Slatted floor system
Slatted floor system facilitates the management and cleaning of chicken droppings by lifting the chickens off the floor and rearing them in a plastic grid. The system offers a number of advantages, including compliance with international trends (e.g., a total ban on chicken cages in the EU by 2027), increased density (about 4.8 chickens per square meter), reduced risk of disease (e.g., coccidiosis and E. coli), improved health and productivity of the chickens, and low cleaning costs.
Famtech’s slatted floor system is made of recyclable PVC and is available in different sizes with different mesh sizes, a service life of up to six years, and easy installation and cleaning, making it suitable for farms of all sizes. In addition, the chicken feed pans and automated feed lines offer durability and efficiency. The feed pans are made of 100% new PP material with a service life of 10-12 years and are suitable for feeding 40-50 birds. The poultry watering system adopts stainless steel drinker, which effectively avoids the contact between water and chicken droppings and ensures the health of chickens. Ventilation system, on the other hand, adopts imported materials to ensure fresh air and suitable temperature in the chicken house, which promotes the health of chickens. FamTECH’s commercial rabbit poultry battery cage has a size of 2400mm × 2100mm and can accommodate 24 cages. It is made of hot-dipped galvanized wire mesh (3mm diameter) with mesh sizes ranging from 20,150mm to 20,200mm to ensure durability and strength. The double-deck design contains 12 breeding cages and 12 reproduction cages for integrated breeding, and the built-in whelping box enhances breeding efficiency. Equipped with sieve plate feeding system, automated manure removal system and intelligent climate control, it improves the environment of rabbit hutches, reduces the incidence of diseases and provides comfortable space for activities.
